One evening before Anthony got home from work Gavin and I went for a walk. He loves his new stroller so walking is alot of fun now. We were passing two different neighbors outside and one was carrying a baby. Gavin of course wanted to see the baby and know exactly what they were doing. The two kiddos just looked at eachother while the Mommy and I compared their ages. The baby was 9 months and Gavin is 15 months. Another neighbor walking by over heard this conversation and said to me 'You don't have a baby anymore. He is a toddler.' I nodded and agreed as Gavin and I went ahead and continued our walk. I kept thinking to myself.. OMGosh... I have a toddler?! I'm a mother of a toddler. He's not a baby anymore. It seemed crazy and almost unbelievable. I can't believe how much Gavin has grown in just over a year and how fast the time has flown by. Seems like just yesterday we were at the hospital with false labor! :) He is also getting so smart!! He knows where his toes, eyes and nose are. You can just see him absorbing everything. He can say Max's name (our Golden Retriever AKA: Gavin's Buddy)..it does sound a little like Ma (without the X) but you know exactly who he is talking about. He is the light of our world and we wouldn't change anything. Anthony and I love Gavin more than anything in the world.
